J.K. Harper writes about paranormal romance and urban fantasy because despite a lifetime of wishing, all the cool supernatural literary characters of her childhood just don’t seem to be real. But she’s still holding out hope that some of them are.
In the second and third grades J.K. got to “publish” two books. One featured a hermit crab named Hermie, and the other some carrot-munching rabbits—all of whom could talk. This fabulous early experience of being an author sent her down the writer’s path forevermore.
Fun facts: she jumped out of a plane over Hawaii’s North Shore and dove through a rainbow on the way down; watched boxing kangaroos in Australia during a college semester; and can start a fire with not much more than two sticks and a string. True stories all.
She’s owned by two cats, a dog, and a horse. J.K. lives in the rugged, gorgeous canyon country of the Southwest.
Her wolf shifter novella, Guardian Wolf: Black Mesa Wolves #1, is now available! Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, All Romance eBooks, Smashwords
Thanks for visiting as she tackles the immense journey of writing and publishing…one word at a time.
